The Gardens Ice House

Our Grand Opening in September, 1996, was the culmination of a vision to bring the best and most modern ice sports facility to the people of the Washington and Baltimore regions. Hosting so many national and Olympic skating champions was a fitting kick off for this facility. Those of us who came together to build The Gardens believe deeply in the spirit that these champions display on and off the ice -- hard work, team play and, above all, a commitment to excellence. Many people associated with this fine facility have spent a lifetime in and around hockey, figure skating and speed skating. Many of us spent eight years dreaming of, planning, designing and finally building The Gardens.
